Independent contractors

If you offer services on Vera Circle, you are an independent contractor. You set your own rates, choose your own jobs, and control your own schedule. We are not your employer, and we do not perform the services ourselves.

Commission

Vera Circle takes a commission on the service amount. The rate is locked in when the job is confirmed, so a later change does not affect a job already underway.

Earnings waiting period

After the customer is charged, earnings are released after the waiting period unless a dispute is open. The waiting period is currently three days. Tips follow the same wait. This waiting period is not a card authorization and is not a trust or escrow account.

Tips

Tips are optional and go 100% to you. We do not take a commission on tips.

Tax

You handle your own income tax. Vera Circle does not withhold tax from your earnings. Keep records and file as required for your situation.
